German wirehaired pointers for hunting and family pets

We found a breed that had the personality and abilities we both found important and could both compete with, the German wirehaired pointer.  Now, more than 15 years later we have 7 of them (and 1 wirehaired dachshund) and going strong in several venues, including field events, conformation showing, agility and obedience.  Our dogs and dogs we’ve trained have earned 6 Master Hunter titles and 16 Senior Hunter titles.  Oh, and yes, they are all our personal pets and hunting dogs of course!  We love their goofy personalities, their intelligence and their enthusiasm for life.
